DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 HANOI/DA NANG/HO CHI MINH CITY – CHENGDU (Dinner on the plane)
- Hanoi: 12:30 PM, the group gathers at the meeting point in the city and transfers to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Chengdu at 15:45 – 18:30.
- Da Nang: 11:00 AM, the group gathers at the international departure hall of Da Nang Airport for the flight to Chengdu at 13:35 – 17:30.
- Ho Chi Minh City: 14:00 PM, the group gathers at the international departure hall of Tan Son Nhat Airport for the flight to Chengdu at 16:30 – 21:55.
- Evening: Arrive at Tianfu International Airport, Chengdu, the car picks up the group and transfers to the hotel, check-in, and overnight in Chengdu. (Note: Due to flight conditions to Tibet, flight times may change, so in some cases, the group may have to transit at Chongqing, Kunming, or nearby cities to Lhasa.)
Day 2 CHENGDU – LHASA (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- 06:00 AM: Transfer to the airport for the flight to Lhasa at 09:30 AM.
- 12:05 PM: Arrive at Lhasa Airport, transfer to Lhasa, the capital and largest city of the Tibet Autonomous Region, and the sacred site of Tibetan Buddhism.
- Check-in at the hotel, lunch, rest to acclimate to the altitude.
- Dinner, overnight at Panchen Lama 4-star hotel in central Lhasa. (Note: On the first day in Lhasa, visitors should limit physical activities, drink plenty of warm water; all activities will be guided by Lantours based on each visitor's physical condition.)
Day 3 VISIT POTALA PALACE – JOKHANG TEMPLE (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Morning: Visit Jokhang Temple, one of the most sacred temples in Tibetan Buddhism, witness the devotees performing the ritual of three steps one bow, and circumambulate the temple with a pure and peaceful mind.
- Lunch with Tibetan cuisine.
- Afternoon: Visit Potala Square, take photos at the white stupa with a panoramic view of the majestic Potala Palace on the red hill, considered the residence of Avalokiteshvara.
- Visit Potala Palace – the highest palace in the world built at an altitude of over 3,600 meters. Potala was the residence of the Dalai Lamas until the 14th Dalai Lama; it is a representative architectural complex of Tibetan Buddhism, a pride of the Himalayan people. Visit Portrang Karpo (White Palace) and Portrang Marpo (Red Palace), admire the unique reliquary stupas, sacred three-dimensional mandalas...
- Dinner, overnight in Lhasa.
Day 4 LHASA – GAMALA PASS – YAMDROK LAKE – ETERNAL GLACIER – BAI TA MONASTERY (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- After breakfast, drive to Gantse city, central Tibet.
- On the way, conquer Gamala Pass at an altitude of 5,000 meters above sea level, take photos with the Tibetan Mastiff – considered the sacred animal of the grassland (own expense).
- Visit and admire Yamdrok Lake, one of the three largest and most beautiful holy lakes in Tibet, where you can freely take photos with Yak or Tibetan Mastiff (own expense).
- Continue to visit the Eternal Glacier at an altitude of 5,020 meters above sea level, with breathtaking photo opportunities.
- Continue driving 80 km to visit Bai Ta Monastery – considered one of the wonders of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery with a 13-story white stupa houses thousand-year-old murals and statues, and the library with ancient Tibetan scriptures on palm leaves...
- Dinner, overnight in Gyantse.
Day 5 GYANTSE – LHASA (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Morning: Experience the Tibetan lifestyle, enjoy butter tea, and tsampa bread.
- Return to Lhasa, admire the grandeur of the Yarlung Tsangpo River on the way.
- Visit an ancient Tibetan village, learn about the polyandrous culture, interact with locals, sing and dance traditional Tibetan songs, and taste Chang wine...
- Lunch, return to Lhasa, free shopping at Bakhor Street with thousands of stalls selling Tibetan products like religious items, thangkas, statues, carpets, clothing, jewelry, Tibetan herbs...
- Dinner, overnight in Lhasa.
Day 6 LHASA – CHENGDU – VIETNAM (Breakfast, lunch at the airport)
- Morning: Check out from the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Chengdu at 11:00 AM.
- 13:30 PM: Arrive in Chengdu, transfer to the international flight to Vietnam. Lunch at the airport.
- Arrive in Vietnam, farewell to the group, and see you on the next interesting trip.

Due to the nature of group joining, if the number of people is from 10-14 guests, there is a surcharge of 2,000,000 VND / guest, for groups of 07-09 guests, there is a surcharge of 3,800,000 VND / guest; groups under 06 guests will use the service for a private group or individual travelers.
Children under 6 years old and elderly people (over 75 years old) are not accepted. Tibet is a region with low air pressure, with air density 25% to 30% lower than that of the plain, so people with extremely weak health or high blood pressure (if stable, it's fine) or those with respiratory diseases (such as asthma), cardiovascular diseases... should not participate in the Tibet tour.
If you request a single room, please pay an additional surcharge;
Your passport must be valid for at least 8 months from the return date + a 4cm x 6 cm color photo with a white background when registering for the tour;
Chinese visa and permit to enter Tibet require a minimum of 30 days, so please register at least 30 days in advance;
For guests not using Vietnamese passports, detailed procedures will be advised when booking the service;
Preparation and notes will be consulted before the group departs from 05-07 days.
From December to the end of March each year, ancient Tibetan villages are closed for migration season, Vietpearl Travel will replace the sightseeing with Tibetan Medicine.
