DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: HANOI - HUU NGHI PASS - NANNING (Lunch, Dinner)
05:00 Group gathers at the Opera House, takes a souvenir photo, then departs for Huu Nghi Pass.
10:00 Group arrives at Huu Nghi Pass, completes immigration procedures to Pingxiang,
Group has lunch then takes a bus to Nanning.
Afternoon, visit Qingxiu Mountain, an outstanding scenic spot in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region with parks, flower gardens, temples, and old houses, a unique check-in spot.
Dinner, overnight in Nanning

Day 2: NANNING – XINING (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning rest or free time for shopping until lunch.
11:30 Group has lunch then transfers to the airport for flight CZ665 at 14:35 to Xining.
16:55 Arrive in Xining, transfer to the hotel, check-in, rest, and have dinner. Evening stroll in Xining to get used to the altitude. Overnight in Xining

Day 3: XINING – LHASA TRAIN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning visit Nam Chang Temple, a unique ancient temple on Namchang Mountain featuring Upper Tibetan style combined with Tang culture with large prayer wheels and elaborate dome patterns.
Group has lunch then boards the train to Lhasa. The Xining-Lhasa train is considered one of the 10 most beautiful train routes in the world, holding titles such as the highest train in the world, the highest railway station, and the highest and longest tunnel through an everlasting glacier. Guests will have the most amazing photos that not all travelers get to experience. Overnight on the train.

Day 4: TRAIN – LHASA (Breakfast & Lunch on the train, Dinner)
Afternoon arrives at Lhasa station, local guide and vehicle welcome the group to the capital of Tibet – Lhasa, the largest city in the Tibetan Autonomous Region and the holy land of Chinese Buddhism. On the way to the city, observe the life of the Tibetan people.
Check into the hotel, rest, free time, avoid strenuous activities to acclimate to the plateau climate.
19:00: Dinner and overnight at Ban Chen Lama 4* hotel in the center of Lhasa.

Day 5: LHASA VISIT POTALA – JOKHANG TEMPLE – BAKHOR STREET (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning visit Potala Palace – the highest palace in the world built at an altitude of over 3,600m. Potala – in Tibetan means the residence of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and also the residence of successive Dalai Lamas until the 14th Dalai Lama, it is an architectural complex representing Tibetan Buddhism. Visit the two main floors: Portrang Karpo (White Palace) and Portrang Marpo (Red Palace).

Lunch then visits Jokhang Temple, one of the holiest temples in Tibetan Buddhism, witness the devotees in the ritual of Three Steps, One Bow, or the endless circles of Kora around the temple.
Free time shopping at Barkhor Street, a unique old town with over 1000 large and small stalls selling Buddhist products and traditional Tibetan items.
19:00: Dinner, overnight in Lhasa.

Day 6: LHASA – GAMBALA PASS – YAMDROK LAKE – EVERLASTING GLACIER – WHITE TOWER MONASTERY – GYANTSE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to Gyantse, the third largest city of the Tibetan people.
On the way, conquer Gambala Pass at an altitude of 5000m above sea level, take photos with Tibetan Mastiffs – considered the sacred animals of the steppe (at your own expense).
On the way, visit and admire Yamdrok Lake, one of the four largest and most beautiful sacred lakes in Tibet, where you can freely take photos with Yaks or Tibetan Mastiffs (at your own expense).
Continue to visit the Everlasting Glacier at an altitude of 5020m above sea level, take spectacular photos.
Have lunch then continue to visit the White Tower Monastery – considered one of the wonders of Tibetan Buddhism with its unique white tower.
Dinner, overnight in Gyantse.

Day 7: GYANTSE – SHIGATSE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, depart for Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet,
Upon arrival, have lunch, check into the hotel, rest.
Afternoon visit Tashilhunpo Monastery – the monastery of successive Panchen Lamas, one of the four largest and most beautiful monasteries in Tibet, consisting of four main halls, notably the colossal statue of Maitreya Buddha, over 26m high, made of 279kg gold and 150,000kg copper, and the sacred reliquary stupa of the Panchen Lamas made of gold, silver, copper, and precious stones. If lucky, meet over 500 monks in their dark red robes, an impressive sight.

Free time shopping in the old streets around the monastery with shops selling Buddhist items and souvenirs.
Dinner, overnight in Shigatse.

Day 8: SHIGATSE – LHASA – WEALTH DEITY TEMPLE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Lunch then return to Lhasa, admire the vast steppe.
On the way back to Lhasa, visit the Yongyu Tibetan village,
Have lunch then transfer to the airport for a flight to Chengdu.
Upon arrival in Chengdu, transfer to the hotel, dinner, free time shopping at the pedestrian street. Overnight at a 4* hotel in central Chengdu.

Day 9: LHASA – CHENGDU – HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch on the plane)
After breakfast, rest around Lhasa until 11:00, then transfer to the airport for flight 3U3905 at 13:15 to Hanoi, transit at Chengdu.
19:35 Arrive in Hanoi. Complete immigration procedures into Vietnam, transfer back to the initial pick-up point, ending the fascinating Tibet tour.

Note:

  • The quote may change depending on the time of tour registration;
  • The program may change depending on flight and hotel availability in China, confirmed officially at the group meeting or at least 07 days before departure, ensuring 4* Tibetan standard quality.
  • Due to Tibet being a special region, the itinerary may change depending on weather conditions, airline schedules, and political security.
  • Due to the nature of the Tibet Autonomous Region, the sightseeing spots may not follow the order in the sample program but will still cover all the introduced routes.
  • Due to the nature of group tours, if the number of people is from 10-14 guests, there will be an additional charge of 2,000,000 VND/guest, and for groups of 07-09 guests, an additional charge of 3,800,000 VND/guest; for groups below 06 guests, private group services or individual travel will be arranged.
  • Tibet is a special political-military region; guests will not be allowed to separate from the group under any circumstances.
  • Children under 06 years old and the elderly (over 75 years old) are not accepted. Tibet is a region with low air pressure, and the air density is 25-30% lower than in lowland areas, so those with very poor health and extremely high blood pressure (if stable, it's fine) or respiratory diseases (such as asthma), cardiovascular diseases (such as heart failure, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease) should not join the Tibet tour.
  • If guests request a single room, please pay an additional supplement;
  • Your passport must be valid for more than 8 months from the return date + a 2cm x 6cm color photo with a white background when registering for the tour;
  • The Chinese visa and Tibet travel permit require at least 30 days, so please register 30 days in advance;
  • For non-Vietnamese passport holders, detailed consultation is needed when booking the service;
  • Preparation and notes will be provided 5-7 days before departure.
  • From December to the end of March annually, the ancient Tibetan village is closed for migration season; Vietpearl Travel will replace it with a Tibetan Pharmacy study point.

  • Register at least 25 days in advance
  • Direct flight from Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang for groups of over 6 guests
  • Apply for group visa for groups of over 06 guests traveling and returning on the same day
  • Guests meet the group and end the tour in Guangzhou.
  • Additional charge of 3,200,000 VND/guest for separate ticket issuance (applicable for groups of over 06 guests, without a guide from Ho Chi Minh City or Da Nang, the group will meet the guide at the transit city to Lhasa, with guide support at the Vietnamese airport for immigration procedures)

  • Cancel the tour 35 days in advance: 30% cancellation fee of the total tour price
  • Cancel the tour 20 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee of the total tour price (including airfare)
  • Cancel the tour 10 days in advance: 100% cancellation fee of the total tour price (including airfare)
