Qatar Airways, the national carrier of Qatar, is set to engage industry experts and travel partners from across the Gulf and beyond at their new exhibition pavilion in Hall no. 2 ME1450. During this premier international travel and tourism event in the Middle East, they will introduce Sama 2.0, the second generation of the world’s first AI-powered digital crew. This advanced system enhances service by providing real-time answers to FAQs and assisting travelers in curating personalized experiences. Additionally, their state-of-the-art stand will feature a multi-sensory pod that showcases the luxury and innovation of the award-winning Qsuite, offering visitors an immersive experience into the exceptional comfort and technological advancements that distinguish Qatar Airways in the global travel industry.
The delegation from Qatar, consisting of 43 tourism sector representatives, will be stationed in the Qatari Pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The pavilion will feature a Visit Qatar stand covering 600 square meters, with an additional 150 square meters on the upper deck. The stand will include a digital ‘inspiration wall’ displaying videos that promote Qatar as a tourist destination.
In collaboration with Heenat Salma, the stand will also host a cultural area that offers four activities, including Sadu weaving and kohl and body oil making, to immerse attendees in Qatari culture. Moreover, the ‘Visit Qatar Café’, in partnership with Qinwan, will be part of the stand’s attractions. An augmented reality device will be available to engage visitors further, allowing them to take photos and receive them as souvenirs.

Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, Chief Executive Officer of Visit Qatar, remarked on the importance of participating in international forums such as ATM to promote Qatar’s tourism capabilities and upcoming developments, aligning with the Qatar National Vision 2030 which aims for economic diversification. He expressed anticipation for productive discussions that could enhance regional and global tourism interest in Qatar.
Qatar’s attractiveness as a premier tourist destination is particularly highlighted by the influx of visitors from the GCC, which made up 44% of the nearly 1.7 million visitors in the first quarter of the year. The unified GCC tourist visa is expected to further boost visitor numbers, offering them exceptional touristic experiences underscored by Service Excellence. Additionally, Qatar Airways plays a crucial role in facilitating easy access to the country from 177 international destinations.
